United in Joy: Creating a Sharable Holiday Experience in Flagship Stores

T’was the season for T-Mobile. Gearing up for a huge holiday season, they wanted to leverage their flagship locations in Chicago, San Francisco, New York City, Miami, Santa Monica, and Las Vegas to tell their United in Joy campaign story in a big, IRL way.

After a successful collaboration the previous year on holiday marketing executions, T-Mobile came straight to IDL for our expertise. And we went right to work taking their tagline and turning it into an impactful, immersive customer experience.

Utilizing elements from the "United in Joy" holiday campaign, IDL developed three  interactive large-scale creative activations to live within each flagship store for the holiday season. 

From interactive bento walls and of-the-moment selfie stations to a two-story stack of creative campaign elements, everything designed was dreamed up in collaboration with T-Mobile’s agency of record to best embody the themes and payoffs of this emotional campaign.

Seamless. Successful. Colorful and, dare we say, jolly. The end result was a living, breathing ode to the accomplishments possible when we all work united in joy.
